The Rueful Rabbit is a bridge column, or blog. The bridge hands are interesting, the analysis is spot on, and the stories are entertaining. Master teacher David Albrecht brings his incredibly clear explanations and engaging voice from the college classroom to the bridge table. Best of all, it is free.
The Rueful Rabbit contains stories written in a style similar to that of Victor Mollo. Mollo created characters such as Hideous Hog, Papa, Walter the Walrus, Secretary Bird, Timothy Toucan and Rueful Rabbit to play bridge. Humans all, their animal names describe their style of bridge play and personality.
In The Rueful Rabbit column, the main characters are Damsel In Distress, Knight In Shining Armor, Red Riding Hood and Bricks, Chicken Little, Terminator, and Bob the Showoff. Sometimes the Professor leads the postmortem with a class of his favorite students.
The characters have fun at the bridge table, and so will you if you read The Rueful Rabbit.
The Rueful Rabbit is published three or four times each month. It is distributed only by email. New subscribers can get on the distribution list by emailing their name, country/state and email address to wdavidalbrecht@gmail.com. Subscription is free!
